This is an easy dry chutney. This chutney has been liked by my guests at The Maihar Palace.it can be used as a substitute for vegetable and can be eaten with any Indian bread but our hot favourite is the poori. this chutney can even be used as stuffing for various vegetables like chillies, ladyfinger, brinjal, sponge gourd etc. An easy substitute and sprinkle over any dish to add flavour. so, make it and store it up. Hope you all will like it.

Ingredients

  • Mustard dal-250 gms
  • Fenugreekseeds-20 gms roasted and ground
  • Cumin seeds-25 gms roasted and ground
  • Whole coriander seeds-25 gms
  • Red chilli powder-50 gms
  • Turmeric powder-10 gms
  • Mustard oil-50 gms
  • Salt-75 gms

Method

Step 1

Take a broad deep vessel. Add all the grounded ingredients one by one in layers (cumin, fenugreek, coriander, and all the powdered). Mix well. Now add mustard dal and salt. Mix well adding the mustard oil gradually taking care that the oil gets mixed properly. Store in an airtight jar.
