Our all season favorite receipe which is very light to the tummy which is a twist to the english roast in a quicker way.

Note: Incase if you want it more sauce then add some hot water.

Ingredients

  • Chicken– 700 gms
  • Ginger- garlic paste- 1 tbsp
  • Whole spices- ½ inch cinnamon, 4 cloves, 2 cardamon, 1 star aniseed
  • Sugar- 11/2 tsp
  • Ground fresh pepper- 1 tsp
  • Pataoes- 2
  • Tabascco Sauce- 1/4 tsp
  • Tomato Sauce- 2tbsp
  • Red chilli Sauce- 1 tsp
  • Worcestershire Sauce- 1 cup
  • oil- 11/2 tbsp
  • salt to taste

Method

Step 1

Take the chicken and potatoes in a Large bowl and put ginger-garlic paste, pepper,worchestershire sauce and salt in it. Leave it to marinate it for around half an hour.

Step 2

Heat oil in a pan and put the sugar to caramelize, then take out the chicken and potatoe from the marination and brown it in the pan. The chicken would be coated with reddish brown colour. Take it off the pan and keep it separately.

Step 3

Now take a Pressure cooker and put the marinated sauce in it to boil. Put the whole spices along with the other sauces and boil it for 2-3 mins. After this put the browned chicken chicken and give pressure till 2-3 whistles. Once the air pressure settles down open the lid.

Step 4

Serve hot with Bread.
