it was these flowers that made me believe the fact that flowers were edible and could taste so delicious if blended well with the right ingredients. Taste these crispy fritters and you’ll know what I mean.

Ingredients

  • Pumkin Flowers 14
  • Rice ½ cup
  • Garlic 6 cloves grated
  • Whole red chilli 2-3 flakes
  • Water to soak and grind
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt to taste

Method

Step 1

Take the flowers and cut off the green part below. Now put flower into the other and tuck the flower inwards. Pair them so we’ll get 7 peices. Keep them aside.

Soak rice, garlic and whole red chilli together for 1 hour.

Step 3

Then grind into a fine paste.

Step 4

Dip the flowers in the prepared batter. Now in a pan take some oil for frying them just as any other fritters. You could shallow fry them as shown in the picture.

Step 5

Serve hot. This is served as a accompaniment, appetizer or a snack.
